Career Development and Employability Services (CDES) is hosting employers from a wide range of industries on campus this semester – and they want to meet students just like you from all years and faculties.

From events with financial service providers to consulting firms and advertising agencies, there’s something coming up to suit every student.

The highlights

Some of our first major expos of the year are coming up:

March, April and May are packed full of expos and recruitment events, so keep an eye on the events section of our website to see what’s coming up.

More expos, such as the Internships and Summer Work Expos, will take place in Semester Two.

Preparing to meet employers

Make sure you stand out and make the right impression when meeting employers by coming to our workshops, which focus on topics including CVs and cover letters, networking, your career direction, job interview skills, LinkedIn, the job search process and much more. You can check out our ‘prepare to get hired’ guide to see which workshops suit the stage you are at.

There are also daily ‘CV drop-ins’ which are running during March from 10.30am-12pm and 3-4pm, no appointment necessary.

In addition to this, one-on-one appointments with our Career Development Consultants are available for more in-depth discussions.
