Where are the databases or e-journals?

Where are the databases or e-journals on the new look Libraries and Learning Services homepage? Use the quick tips below for finding resources and website content or use this two-page help sheet.

Search Everything

  • Enter your favourite database or e-journal title into the Search Everything box. They will be found with this search.

Change the Search Everything drop-down

  • Select Databases or Journals. Search results are focused on one search scope only rather than ‘everything’.
  • Use the More option to open the complete list of all library tools and collections.

  • This takes you directly to popular options such as the Catalogue, Databases or E-journals.

  • Use the top menu to explore content by key areas.
  • All website content can also be discovered using Search Everything, including looking for staff contacts.

    Slightly off topic I’m afraid. I would like the link to the library at the top of the U of A page – it would be much more convenient than having to scroll down to the very bottom.

      A handy hint – the End button on the keyboard will take you to the bottom of the page.

        another handy hint – configure the site with end users in mind. Best practice does not have you using End tab to get to useful links within a website.

    I originally couldn’t find it on mobile for the life of me. I must have glossed over the dropdown too quickly. Thanks for the help!
