Access to library collections

At Orange setting, you can visit our libraries and browse the shelves for items.

  • You can borrow up to 100 books.

Click and Collect service

Our popular Click and Collect service is available. You can request books held at any of our libraries and select the library of your choice for pickup. We will email you when the item is available to collect.

  • Sign in to the Catalogue, find the book that you need, and request it.
  • Requests for items already on loan (recalls) are not available.
  • If you need to remain isolated for health reasons, we can courier books to you. Just Ask us.

Digitisation of articles and book chapters

Digitisation of journal articles or part of a book can be requested. We can only scan one chapter of a book per request. This service includes chapters from Short Loan books.

Returning books

You may return books that you have borrowed, to any of our libraries. No fines will be charged if you are returning books after their due date, except for Short Loan items where normal fines apply.
