Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition and workshops 2022

Founded by the University of Queensland in 2008, the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition is now held in over 900 universities and in more than 85 countries across the globe.

Participants take up the challenge to share the story of their research with a general audience in under three minutes, supported by nothing more than a single, static slide.

“…3MT competition cultivates students’ academic, presentation and research skills. Presenting in a 3MT competition increases their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience”. https://threeminutethesis.uq.edu.au/about

The University of Auckland finals will take place on Friday 5 August 2022.
