We’re upgrading the Library website!
We’re excited to share that the Library website is getting a much-needed upgrade! Over the next few months, we’ll be reviewing our content to ensure you’re getting the most relevant, up-to-date information. We’ll also be restructuring our content to improve the user experience, so you can easily find the information you need when you need it.
So, what’s actually happening?
Between now and Semester One 2024, we’ll be shifting content from the Library’s CMS (Content Management System) onto the same CMS which hosts the University’s main website. As we move onto the new platform we’ll be refreshing and restructuring our content to ensure that it’s current, findable and easy to navigate.
How will this affect me?
- You may notice the look and feel of the Library content begins to look more like the content on the main University website.
- Any Te Tumu Herenga | Libraries and Learning Services content that you currently have bookmarked will automatically redirect to the corresponding new webpage.
- Some of the content which used to be hosted under the ‘Libraries and Learning Services’ umbrella will be moving to a more intuitive location on the University’s website. For example, information about the Library Information Commons will soon be hosted under the University’s ‘Facilities and Services’. It is unlikely that you will notice this change.
